The other night, I was walking the dog and noticed that the sky looked weird and cool. It especially looked weird and cool through the bare limbs of the trees. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and took a picture.

Since I took those pictures, I have been close to writing a post that conveys in words what the pictures convey in images. However, nothing has come to mind. Heck, I even looked up poems that may fit the pictures.
Despite my best efforts, the pictures will be left to speak for themselves. In fact, that is probably what pictures are for.
At least a couple of thousand words 🙂 And great pictures.
Thank you
Incredibly beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome, and thank you for liking them.
Weird and cool, the night sky dangles a moon
anointed the bare trees with a silvery swoon.
I like it.
The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees.
The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas.
The road was a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,
And the highwayman came riding—
Riding—riding—
The highwayman came riding, up to the old inn-door.
Those are great lines. Thanks for posting them.
Go for it!
Bridie,
