The Funk Comes Marching In

25 Mar

March must the time of year when my creative side goes on vacation. This time last year, I went into a writing funk, and it has happened again. Heck, I am not even in the frame of mind to find an illustration for this post. My past few posts have not been good, and I know exactly why. I did not write them because I had something to write about. I wrote them because I felt like that something needed to be written.

My blogging mind has gone into complete blank mode, and the inspiration to put fingers to keyboard is not there. Last night, I kept thinking that I should write a post, but it never happened. It is better to write nothing than to write crap.

With all of that being said, I am not going to publish a post until something comes to me that is worth writing. That could be tonight. That could be tomorrow. There is no telling when it will be. However, it will happen when it is ready to happen.

Looking forward to reading again when the inspiration strikes.
    Enjoy the break.

Thanks. I hope it comes sooner rather than later.

I think the never-ending winter plus all of the obligations of this semester are just dragging people down. I’m finding it harder and harder to post, and I even made an editorial calendar with content ideas (that’s the librarian nerd in me). Hope your funk goes marching out soon!

It’ll be over soon. An editorial calendar? Why am I not surprised?

Thanks. I can feel it coming back as I type this.
